DESIGNER

Nick brings ten years of graphic design experience to the Three Loons Creative team and collaborates with clients to develop the visuals and artist direction for each email. With a deep background in design, Nick has honed his skills to create visually stunning and effective email campaigns that captivate audiences and drive conversions. Nick grew up in Des Moines, Iowa and after graduating with a bachelors of fine arts in graphic design at Iowa State University, Nick worked with Harry & David, a premium food and gift producer and retailer. He first worked in their creative services department creating marketing assets for both print and digital channels before moving to their packaging department, where he created original artwork and graphics for seasonal packaged gifts. In his free time you can find Nick watching cheesy horror movies with his wife Kai, gaming on the couch with his cat Bacon, or paddle boarding out on one of Minnesota's many lakes.

BUSINESS RELATIONS AND COPYWRITER

Sam is the primary point of contact for Three Loons Creative, and he works closely with each client to develop the copy of each email. Formerly an attorney, Sam utilizes his legal background and training to create captivating email copy that conveys our clients’ desired messages effectively, leading to engaging copy that not only grabs the reader’s attention but also drives conversions. A Duluth native, he graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota-Duluth with a bachelor’s degree in Writing Studies with an emphasis on journalism. He then worked for a custom fashion content publishing company, where he assisted in training an artificial intelligence to recognize approximately 30,000 different fashion articles in still photographs. In his free time, Sam can be found slicing golf balls deep into the woods, building the longest road in Catan, and having his heart broken by Minnesota’s sports teams.
